A comprehensive electrical compliance service, performed by a licensed electrician, includes a full inspection and testing of a property’s electrical systems, installations, and appliances. The service includes a complimentary air conditioner filter clean.

A smoke alarm compliance service ensures all alarms in a property are properly installed, tested, and maintained according to safety regulations. The service includes a complimentary air conditioner filter clean.
Replacement of any faulty or expired smoke alarms charged at cost price.
Free battery replacement if required to ensure alarms are fully operational.

A Corded Blinds Safety Service is a professional inspection and maintenance service to ensure that a property's corded blinds are compliant with safety standards.

ProSafe Rental Compliance provides comprehensive service checks to verify adherence to minimum compliance standards. All rental properties must successfully meet the 14 categories of mandatory minimum standards before being listed for tenancy.

Completing the Minimum Standard check does not replace the mandatory requirements for conducting separate gas, electrical, and smoke alarm safety checks.
Gas, electrical, and smoke alarm safety checks are required in addition to meeting these property standards.

Electrical and Gas Compliance Services
Our professional electrical compliance service provides a comprehensive safety inspection of a rental property's entire electrical system, including appliances supplied by the rental provider. All inspections are conducted in full compliance with AS/NZS 3019.
Similarly, our gas service ensures your rental property's gas system meets all safety and compliance requirements under AS/NZS 5601.
This comprehensive approach protects your property and gives you peace of mind.
Pre-Inspection Checklist
To ensure a seamless and efficient visit from Prosafe, we have prepared a comprehensive pre-inspection checklist. Following these guidelines will help facilitate a smooth and timely service.
Gas & Electricity Supply: To ensure a seamless and efficient service, please ensure that both electricity and gas services are active and available at the property.
Occupant Presence: A responsible adult, aged 18 or older, must be present at the property during our compliance visit.
Property Access: For a comprehensive compliance assessment, all areas of the property, including locked rooms, sheds, and garages, must be made accessible to our technicians.
Accessibility: Please ensure that all personal belongings and stored items are cleared from areas surrounding electrical fittings, gas connections, gas meters, switchboards, and all gas appliances. This provides our technicians with clear, safe access to conduct their work.
Pet Management: For the safety of our technicians and to prevent any disruptions during the inspection, we kindly request that all pets be secured or appropriately supervised.
Landscaping & Foliage: Any foliage or vegetation obstructing gas appliances, meters, or electrical switchboards should be trimmed to ensure unimpeded access for our inspection and servicing.
Aerial Power Cable Clearance: To prevent non-compliance issues and ensure a safe working environment, please confirm that there is adequate clearance around all aerial power cables.
Meter Access Coordination: If a meter is in an area requiring access through a separate property or a specific key, please notify us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements to obtain access.
High Ceilings & Appliances: Please inform us if the property has exceptionally high ceilings, as this may require the use of taller ladders or a specialized team. Similarly, if any gas appliances are located at heights that would require a working-at-height qualified technician, such as on a multi-story roof, please advise us so we can dispatch the appropriate personnel.
Fire Indicator Panel (FIP): For properties equipped with a Fire Indicator Panel, arrangements must be made with the Owners Corporation to ensure keys are available for our technicians to access and service the panel.
Gas Appliance Preparation: To mitigate the risk of burns and ensure our technicians can safely service gas heaters, please have them turned off at least one hour prior to our scheduled visit.
Corded Blind Access: Kindly ensure that all corded blinds are easily accessible for inspection. Please remove any items or refuse that may be obstructing access to these areas.
Additional information regarding Power Disruptions
As part of our standard electrical service, a temporary power interruption of 10 to 30 minutes may occur. Please note that any medical equipment, including life support devices, will be affected by this disruption.
